Downtown Columbus Summer Festivals – 2017

Downtown Columbus is the place to be this summer. With a wide variety of events for the whole family and a renaissance in Downtown living if you haven’t been in awhile now is the time to visit. Here are a few of our favorite events:

Columbus Arts Festival: Summer has definitely arrived when the Columbus Arts Festival begins. 3 days of exhibitions, performances, food, workshops, and the Arts Festival 5K make for a jam packed weekend.

Grandview Digfest: Grandview Digfest is a celebration of local craft beer, micro-distilleries and local foods at the Grandview Yard.

Comfest – A Columbus favorite since it’s founding in 1972, Comfest is a large, free, non-corporate, music and arts annual festival currently held each June at Goodale Park in the Victorian Village featuring local music, artisans, and food.

Red, White, & Boom – The largest single day event in Columbus, Red, White, and Boom draws almost half a million people along the banks of the Scioto River to watch the fireworks and partake in the day’s worth of scheduled activities.

Columbus Greek Festival – Located Downtonw at The Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral, the Columbus Greek Festival has become an end-of-summer staple for many. The cultural festival features a great variety of traditional Greek food, dance by the Greek Festival Folk Dancers, cathedral tours, cooking lessons, musical performances and more.
