Located in northern Columbus, Clintonville is an informal neighborhood located to the north of The Ohio State University campus. Clintonville ranges from the Olentangy River east to I-71 and then north to Cooke Road. Inside of Clintonville there are four loosely defined residential districts. South Clintonville (a mix of single family and multi-family homes), North Clintonville (higher end properties with driveways instead of alleys), Beechwold (a combination of cape cods and high end housing), and North of Morse (a mix of single family homes). While Clintonville is a part of the Columbus City Schools it does have some of the highest scoring schools in the CCS and the state of Ohio. Clintonville is also home to several private and parochial schools. Clintonville is also home to the Columbus School for the Deaf.
